The Malaysia NHDR Challenge

The Malaysia NHDR Challenge was organised by UNDP Malaysia in conjunction with AIESEC’s 2014 YEA Summit (Youth Empowering Action). With the oncoming launch of the first Malaysia Human Development Report 2013 (MHDR), the challenge was a great opportunity for young people to be part of the solution to our country’s development challenges, and was a unique platform for their voices and ideas to be heard in this process of nation-building.

The Challenge was made up of 3 phases:

Phase I: INK IT! Essay Competition – Teams shared their thoughts on the expansion of the middle class
